The Students’ Union Election of Thoubal College was successfully conducted and completed on 19 December 2025 in accordance with the established norms and guidelines governing student representative bodies. The election was organized to democratically constitute the Students’ Union for the academic session 2025–26.

The election process witnessed active participation from the student community, reflecting a healthy democratic spirit on the campus. A total of eight (8) portfolios were contested, covering key representative and functional positions of the Students’ Union. 

Polling was carried out smoothly from 09:00 AM under the supervision of the Election Committee, with adequate arrangements made to ensure transparency, fairness, and orderliness. Vote counting was undertaken immediately after polling at 12:10 pm adhering strictly to procedural norms. 

The newly elected representatives are expected to uphold the values of responsibility, inclusiveness, and service to the student community. The college administration appreciates the cooperation extended by the Election Committee, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and Manipur Police whose collective efforts ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the election.
