Thoubal College observed National Youth Day on 12 January 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The programme was organised to inspire students with the ideals of youth empowerment, character building, and national service.

The event began with floral tributes paid to Swami Vivekananda, led by the college principal Prof. A. Nabachandra Singh, and by other faculty members and students as a mark of respect. This was followed by brief addresses highlighting his teachings and contributions to Indian thought and youth awakening. The observation concluded with a message encouraging the youth to uphold values of discipline, dedication, and social responsibility.
