The 16th National Voters’ Day, 2026 was observed at Thoubal College in the Multipurpose Hall on 14 January 2026. The programme was jointly organised by the National Service Scheme, National Cadet Corps, and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell under the initiative of the Chief Electoral Officer Manipur.

Prof. A. Nabachandra Singh, Principal of Thoubal College, Dr. L. Akendrajit Singh, Coordinator, IQAC, S. Dijamani Singh, and Prof. L. Shanta Singh of the Indian Statistical Institute attended the programme as Chief Guest, President, and Guests of Honour respectively.

A voter pledge was administered, followed by an open quiz competition. Certificates, T-shirts, and caps were distributed to NSS volunteers and students. The programme concluded successfully, promoting awareness on democratic participation.
