A One-Day Awareness Programme on “Road Safety” (Sarak Surakshy Abhiyan) was conducted at Thoubal College on Thursday, 29 January 2026, with the objective of promoting responsible road behaviour and enhancing public awareness on traffic rules and safety measures.

The programme was jointly organised by the District Transport Office Thoubal, the National Service Scheme, the National Cadet Corps, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, and Automobile Technology SODAT.

The programme included informative sessions highlighting traffic regulations, accident prevention strategies, and the importance of disciplined driving. Students actively participated in the discussions, gaining practical insights into road safety practices.

The event concluded with a call for collective responsibility towards ensuring safer roads and reducing traffic-related accidents, making the programme both educational and impactful.
