Thoubal College observed the celebration of My Bharat National Sports Day 2026, themed "Khelo India Samvaad," on the 27th of August 2026 in the Multipurpose Hall of the college. The event was jointly organized by NSS Units I, II and III, NCC, IQAC of Thoubal College, and My Bharat, Thoubal.

The programme began at 10:00 a.m. with the arrival and assembly of guests, invitees and participants, followed by registration and a screening of the MY Bharat sports achievement montage. Prof. A. Nabachandra Singh, Principal, Thoubal College, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, while Dr. N. Ibobi Singh, President, TCTA, Thoubal College, presided over the function as President. Konsam Maicheal Singh, Retired Assistant Director, SAI–Imphal, and Singam Sunildatta Singh, NIS (WUSHU) and President, Thoubal District WUSHU Association, attended as Guests of Honour.

The highlight of the morning was the virtual arrival of the Hon'ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a welcome address from Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, and a screening of a short film on National Sports Day. The event concluded with remarks appealing for youth registration on the MY Bharat portal, a vote of thanks, and the National Anthem, followed by a group photograph and a Fit India sporting activity organized by the host college.
