Thoubal College celebrated Teacher's Day on 7th September 2026, at the Multipurpose Hall of the college, beginning at 11:00 a.m. The event was organised by the Thoubal College Students' Union as a mark of gratitude and respect towards the teaching and non-teaching members of the institution.

The programme was addressed by the Principal of the college, Prof. A Nabachandra who spoke on the significance of the day and the role of teachers in shaping students' lives and careers. The President of TCTA (Thoubal College Teachers' Association), Dr. N. Ibobi also delivered a speech, reflecting on the bond between students and educators. A special address was given by Oja Dwijamani, one of the oldest and most senior faculty members of the college, who shared reminiscences from his long years of service and words of wisdom for the students and younger colleagues.

The highlight of the celebration was the felicitation ceremony, during which the Students' Union presented gifts and tokens of appreciation to all teaching and non-teaching members of the college, honouring their contribution and dedication to the institution. The event was marked by a warm and festive atmosphere, with students expressing heartfelt gratitude towards their teachers and staff through speeches, felicitations and gestures of appreciation. The celebration reaffirmed the strong bond of respect and camaraderie between the students and the college fraternity, and concluded with a vote of thanks extended to all the dignitaries, teachers and staff present.
